La Crosse man arrested following high speed chase on I-90

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) - A man has been arrested following a high speed chase early Monday morning.

Police responded to a stolen vehicle call from Bob's Lock and Safe at 8:16 A.M. 

The car was located on La Crosse St. where police attempted to stop it before it accelerated to speeds upwards of 60 mph.

The suspect, later identified as Cameron Baker, 29, went north on 24th St. and hit an unoccupied parked vehicle. He then cut through Roellig Park and began traveling north on Hwy 16 where at least one tire blew out.

Baker then entered onto I-90 going Eastbound where police deployed stop sticks.

Baker was arrested around mile marker 34.

Baker faces charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Owner's Consent, Felony Fleeing an Officer, and Hit and Run: unattended vehicle.
