ONALASKA, Wis. (WKBT) - The Driftless Outdoors Show is getting everbody ready for summertime activities.

The two-day, 50,000 square foot event has more than 90 food and equipment vendors.

The event brings some of the nation's top experts and retailers ready to answer questions and provide information about some of the best outdoor activities.

A special appearance by Charlie Berens of the Manitowoc Minute was at the show Friday night, including an opening act by La Crosse's very own Tracy Ballzer and Lisa David Olson from the Heart of La Crosse Comedy Troupe.

"This is an opportunity to really showcase outdoor recreation in La Crosse County, things to do in the driftless region more broadly. So different things for people to try, different vendors for people to check out their equipment from," said Anna Baughman from Explore La Crosse.

The show runs at the Onalaska Omni Center Saturday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Admission is free thanks to Mayo Clinic Health System.
