UPDATE: Two escaped Wisconsin inmates captured

OSHKOSH, Wis. (WKBT) - UPDATE 6/19/18: Two minimum-security inmates that escaped from the Winnebago Correction Center were located in Dane County and taken into custody Tuesday.

PREVIOUS STORY: 

Two minimum-security inmates, from the Winnebago Correction Center, have escaped.

According to the Winnebago department of Corrections, James Heather and Alexander Weinmann, escaped from the facility recently.

Heather, 27, is a white man, approximately 181 pounds, 5 feet, 7 inches tall with blue eyes and brown hair.

Weinmann, 25, also a white man, approximately 168 pounds, 5 feet, 10 inches tall with blue eyes and brown hair.

The public is asked to contact police with any information regarding the whereabouts of the inmates.
