LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — There’s a new online resource center for those involved in local nonprofit organizations.

One component of the new resource center is a nonprofit board matching program.

Those who wish to help a nonprofit by serving on a board can get training through the program.

They can also get matched with an organization needing board members in La Crosse County.

“La Crosse County has the most nonprofits per capita of any county in the state of Wisconsin,” said Jamie Schloegel,  executive director of the La Crosse Community Foundation. “There are so many incredible nonprofits who are really helping to create a really vibrant community for all of us who call this area home.”

You can find the new nonprofit resource center and information about the board matching program on the La Crosse Community Foundation’s website.
