New Holmen fine arts center unveiled
The Holmen community voted to approve the remodeling and expansion by referendum in 2018
HOLMEN, Wis. (WKBT) – Holmen’s brand new fine arts center has been completed. The school district held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to honor the new school addition.
The Holmen community voted to approve the remodeling and expansion by referendum in 2018. The entire process saw about 72,000 square feet of new space being added to the school.
In addition, the same amount of space was remodeled in the building as well. All in all, the final price tag for the renovations totaled $23.5 million.
“It’s just amazing what we were able to do, and just so proud of everyone, who not only supported us from the beginning but helped us along with the planning and the design and making this happen,” said Dr. Kris Mueller, the district administrator for Holmen School District.
The project also helped create new spaces for athletics science and technology education.
