New festival celebrating Charmant anniversary in La Crosse
River Roast proceeds go towards Freedom Fest
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Thanking the La Crosse community while raising money for soldiers is the focus of a new festival in La Crosse this weekend.
The Charmant Hotel is hosting the first ‘River Roast’ this Saturday. The music festival is free and open to the public, with tickets to the pig roast for sale.
The hotel is putting on the festivities as a thank you for the reception from the community and in celebration of their first year anniversary in La Crosse, and organizers say it’s a great way to show support for our troops.
“It’s really important to us to team up with a wonderful organization like Freedom Fest to not only show our support for the wonderful organization like that, honoring veterans, paying tribute to the fallen,” said Charmant hotel Director of Sales Stacy Erickson.
River Roast is Saturday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Proceeds from the food tickets will go towards Freedom Fest.
