New executive director named at Coulee Council on Addictions

Coulee Council on Addictions in La Crosse is now under new leadership.

Cheryl Hancock is taking over as the new executive director of the non-profit.

Hancock is replacing Keith Lease who took a job at Western Technical College back in March.

Her resume includes work with the American Red Cross and Southeast Technical College, along with a long list of other leadership roles in the community. She is currently the president of the Holmen School Board.

Hancock has already met with staff and says she is ready to step into the role and help make a difference in the community.

“With my strong experience in non-profit management, I think the organization will see some immediate benefit from that, but I think also you have to have a passion for the work that you do and that’s something that I would bring to the agency as well,” said Hancock.

She will officially begin in August.
