New director named for La Crosse Regional Airport
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The La Crosse Regional Airport names a new Director.
Ian Turner was selected by the City of La Crosse’s Airport Board.
Turner currently serves as Director of Aviation at the Pueblo Memorial Airport in Colorado.
He has also worked at airports in California, Washington and North Dakota.
Turner replaces Clinton Torp, who left the La Crosse Regional Airport in May of this year.
The new director will have to take flight quickly.
“We have a lot of things going on in the airport right now with our car wash and other things going on so new development and he has a lot of experience in that,” said Andrea Richmond La Crosse Aviation Board chair.
City leaders hope to Turner will start his new position September 9th.
