Neighbors Day a month away
Event goal is to help the elderly and disabled spruce up their home
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — With warmer weather comes some spring cleaning.
The 19th annual Neighbors Day in La Crosse is less than a month away. It’s put on by the La Crosse Jaycees. The goal is to help the elderly and disabled spruce up their home just in time for spring.
This can be anything from raking leaves to washing windows.
Right now organizers are looking for volunteers before the big day.
“I would guess we’re under 100 probabaly under 50 right now and we look for close to 400 each year so we’re really pushing for volunteers right now,” said La Crosse Jaycees Chair Person Heather Suby.
Neighbors Day kicks off April 18. If you’d like to help out you can visit the CityOfLaCrosse.org.
