Nebraska beats Minnesota for 1st conference win of season
Nebraska men’s basketball won its first Big Ten game of the season Wednesday night by beating Minnesota 78-65 in Nebraska.
The Cornhuskers led 32-21 at halftime after forcing 12 Gopher turnovers, and the Gophers could never recover.
Alonzo Verge Jr. led Nebraska with 22 points, while Jamison Battle led Minnesota with 21 points.
