Nearly 1,000 pick up bottled water donations at distribution in town of Campbell

Water is still available from the town of Campbell

TOWN OF CAMPBELL, Wis. (WKBT) – Nearly 1,000 people picked up free bottled water Thursday in the town of Campbell.

Close to 200 wells on French Island are contaminated with PFAS.

There may be more.

While the DNR investigates, it will provide water to homes.

Kwik Trip, Hy-Vee and CVS donated 25,000 gallons giving each families enough water to get by until the DNR can start delivering it.

If you didn’t get water Thursday, you can contact the town of Campbell to schedule a pick up.

You can find the phone number here, as well as a link to the DNR’s water sign up here.
