Music and meat lovers could find plenty to enjoy at Big Muddy Brew ‘N Que
WINONA, Minn. (WKBT) — The fourth annual Big Muddy Brew ‘N Que was at Levee Park in Winona over the weekend.
Performances by the Rutabaga Brothers and Ontourage closed two days full of music on Sunday.
Winona’s best Barbecue was decided in a competition on Saturday.
There was also a celebrity rib eating contest Sunday, which featured competitors such as Winona’s mayor, and the deputy sheriff, as well as local business leaders and radio personalities.
“That was a lot of fun. It was smoked at the store. The winning rib count was 14 ribs in 12 minutes. It was just an absolute fun event,” said Dan Welsh, the store director for Winona’s Hy-Vee.
The event was free and open to the public.
