MUCH Cooler Temps Tonight -Bill Graul
Pleasant Saturday... Then Summer-Like On Sunday
Tonight’s Forecast Low: 47F / Saturday’s Forecast High: 78F…
Clearing skies, light winds and dry air will all combine to make for a much cooler night across the region. Expect overnight lows in the 40s for most, but mid-upper 30s will be possible in traditional cooler spots north and east. There could also be some patchy fog in some of the river valleys late tonight into early Saturday morning.
Saturday looks to be a very nice day with lots of sunshine, pleasant temps and low humidity. Expect highs in the mid-upper 70s in most areas. Summer-like conditions return for Sunday, with highs well into the 80s. In fact, the La Crosse airport could be around 90F for a high temp. It will be more humid as well, with breezy south winds 10-20 mph and gusts around 25 mph possible.
Looking Ahead… Monday will still be pretty warm and humid, with highs in the low-mid 80s. Another cold front will bring a chance of scattered showers and t-storms Monday, especially during the afternoon hours and into Monday night. Showers could linger into Tuesday morning, then it will turn partly sunny with cooler highs in the upper 60s to around 70F. Both Monday and Tuesday could be rather breezy as well.
Mostly sunny and cool to welcome in “astronomical” Fall on Wednesday, with highs mainly in the 60s. Pleasant on Thursday and Friday with mostly sunny skies. Highs will be near 70F Thursday, then mid 70s Friday. A bit warmer next Saturday, with highs well into the 70s.
Have a good Friday night and a great weekend ahead! -Bill Graul
