MRI services now offered at Tomah clinic
TOMAH, Wis. (WKBT) — The Mayo Clinic Health System Tomah Clinic is now offering MRI services.
The new MRI equipment is a big addition, allowing up to 12 screenings to be completed every day.
Tests will be completed using the same Mobile MRI unit being used on the Onalaska campus and other mayo clinics in the region.
Lead MRI Technologist for Mayo Clinic, Johnathon Hoff says offering these new services is an important step in accessibility for Tomah area patients.
“We do have a lot of clientele that end up having to drive into La Crosse or Onalaska, and by expanding our services here to Tomah we’re taking the burden off of them having to drive, and providing that service locally,” said Hoff.
Patients scheduled for an MRI will be screened during regular hours, between 8 a.m. until 5:45 p.m.
