Mount La Crosse back on track
Mother nature gave us a late start to the snow this winter and News 8 reported how this affected area businesses like Mount La Crosse.
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — However the last two months have welcomed enough snow and cold temperatures for skiers to finally slide down La Crosse’s most popular hills.
Mount La Crosse representatives say although they had a later start to the season, that won’t put a damper on the rest of the winter.
“We’re almost 100 percent open, we’re missing a few, we’ve got the larger terrain park not quite open yet but I believe in the next week, we’re 100 percent,” said Sarah Peltier, events coordinator at Mount La Crosse.
Mount La Crosse represantives also say minimal amounts of snow this season didn’t affect them too much as they have workers using equipment to make snow.
