As the beautiful weather continues more and more people will be hitting the road for summer vacations, but a group in La Crosse wants to remind everyone to share the road and look twice while traveling.

It’s part of the annual Motorcycle Awareness Rally.

Motorcyclists flashed signs at passing cars on Highway 16 in La Crosse on Saturday urging drivers to be more aware of motorcycles and to promote general safety on the road.

“A lot of times we are hard to see, we fit in a blind spot nicely, and people are doing other things will riding. So it’s a reminder to look twice while you are out there,” said Dean Bartosh, the regional representative for ABATE of Wisconsin.
