Mostly to Partly Cloudy Tonight, Patchy Light Fog Late? -Bill Graul
Rain Chances Increase Later This Week
Tonight’s Forecast Low: 61F / Tuesday’s Forecast High: 80F…
Mostly to partly cloudy tonight with seasonably cool lows in the 50s to low 60s. Small chance of showers or sprinkles in far northern parts of viewing area (Rusk, Chippewa, Clark counties), but most of the area will stay dry. Patchy light fog possible late tonight into early Tuesday in areas that see clearing overnight.
Mix of clouds and sun Tuesday, with pleasant temps for mid-August. Expect highs in the 76-81F range, with E/SE winds around 5-10 mph. Areas of fog a decent bet for late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
Slight chance of showers and isolated thunder on Wednesday as a weak disturbance drops a cold front southeast across the region. Highs on Wednesday will be in the upper 70s to low 80s. Rain chances increase later in the week, especially by Friday with highs in the 70s.
Looking Ahead… Still a pretty good chance for scattered showers and t-storms on Saturday, then lesser rain chances on Sunday. Temps remain below average for the weekend, with highs in the mid-upper 70s. Next Monday and Tuesday look dry and warmer with highs back in the low-mid 80s.
Have a good Monday night and a great week ahead! -Meteorologist Bill Graul
