More Spotty Freezing Drizzle Possible Late Tonight
As we head into tonight, we’ll see another weak wave pass across the region. This will keep clouds going. And just like last night, we could see some spotty snowflakes or freezing drizzle. And just like last night it will be very light and sporadic. The timing appears to be from about midnight tonight through 6 AM tomorrow morning. So, once again, we’ll need to be on the lookout for some scattered slick spots late tonight. Look for lows in the upper teens in the north to the middle 20s across the south.
As we head into tomorrow, look for a repeat of today. We’ll see more clouds and highs in the upper 20s to middle 30s.
Looking ahead… look for cloudy and mild weather to continue through Wednesday and Thursday. A couple of disturbances track across the area from Thursday night into Saturday. As a result, look for periodic chances of light snow or rain and snow. Dry weather returns Sunday and will continue into early next week. We may actually squeak out some sunshine during this period.
Temperatures through the period will continue above average and will really get a boost as we head into next weekend. They will last through Monday. Look for highs to range from the middle 30s to lower 40s.
Colder temperatures will try to return by next Tuesday. This would put us back into the 20s for highs.
Have a great night, but keep an eye out for patchy freezing drizzle late tonight.
