More Record Heat Possible For Many Today -Bill Graul
Breezy & Hot Sunday As Well
Saturday’s Forecast High: 95F / Tonight’s Forecast Low: 71F…
This weekend will be dry and continued hot. Humidity will climb a bit, but it still won’t be overly humid. Highs today will be in the low-mid 90s and the record high in La Crosse of 93F (set in 1934) will be in jeopardy. A few clouds move in Sunday afternoon and that could keep highs in the upper 80s to low 90s. However, if skies remain mostly sunny… then highs will again reach the low-mid 90s in some spots. The record high in La Crosse on Sunday is 96F, set in 2011.
Looking Ahead… Isolated showers and t-storms possible Monday, with highs in the upper 80s to near 90F. Rain chances increase a bit Tuesday through Thursday, with at least slight chances for scattered showers and storms each day. Temps will remain above average, with highs well into the 80s.
Just isolated t-showers possible next Friday, then Saturday is looking dry at this time. Highs will remain in the 80s.
Stay cool and have a great weekend! -Bill Graul
