More Light Snow Moves In Today
Friday’s High: 28F / Tonight’s Low: 17F – Last updated Friday, December 13, 2019 at 7:25 AM…
Good Friday to you! Conditions are quiet this morning, but more light snow will move in after lunchtime. A disturbance will bring light snow, possibly a little wintry mix, from west to east this afternoon. Snowfall accumulations look to be from a trace to 1″. Highs will top out in the upper 20s.
A few snow showers or light drizzle will be with us this evening before the system heads east. Skies will then be cloudy overnight with lows in the mid to upper teens.
Looking Ahead… Colder air will build in for the weekend, but conditions are looking dry. I’m expecting mostly cloudy skies for Saturday, highs will be in the low 20s. Winds will also be a bit breezy out of the northwest tomorrow, so expect temperatures to *feel* colder.
The cold air will really settle in for Sunday. I am expecting some sunshine to return, but high temps will only be in the lower to middle teens.
These colder than average temperatures will be with us for next week and heading into next weekend. However, a very quiet pattern is setting up, so precipitation chances are slim.
