More Clouds Tonight

We are watching a weak clipper system over southern Canada. This system will drop a weak cold front across the region tonight, but it will come through dry with just some passing clouds. Lows tonight will be in the low-mid 20s.

Exactly how far south the front tracks Friday will be key in determining how much sunshine your area sees. Right now, it appears we’ll see some morning cloudiness with the front slipping far enough south to allow for some afternoon sunshine. Look for highs to range 35F to 40F.

Looking Ahead… Expect highs in the upper 30s for the weekend, with thickening clouds Saturday. A disturbance will bring a chance of light snow Saturday night, then light snow or rain/snow mix on Sunday. Snow accumulations Saturday night should remain under one-half inch.

Lingering light rain and snow look possible Monday with highs in the low 40s. Tuesday is looking dry, but cloudy. Highs Tuesday will be around 40F.

We’ll see a slight chance of light rain and snow Wednesday with highs in the upper 30s to near 40F.

A stronger system is being advertised around Thursday of next week. Right now it looks like it would bring a mix of rain and snow. Highs Thursday will be in the middle 30s.

Partly sunny skies return Friday with highs again in the middle 30s.
