Moon Tunes concerts start Thursday in La Crosse
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Another summer of music by the river is kicking off soon in La Crosse.
Moon Tunes starts its 6th year at Riverside Park Thursday night.
The free concert series brings a variety of musical acts together for a free concert.
The funds raised each Thursday will be used to help the community.
“We’re working with the La Crosse concert band, Riverfest, Rotary Lights and the La Crosse Jazz Orchestra to help put a roof over the band stand, acoustical roof to protect us from the elements,” said Terry Bauer, member of the Valley View Rotary.
Concerts are most Thursday nights in Riverside Park through the start of September.
