Montee Ball sentenced to 60 days in jail, probation in domestic abuse case

25-year-old pleaded guilty Friday morning in court

Former Badgers running back Montee Ball was sentenced to 60 days in jail in court Friday in a domestic abuse case.

Ball, 25, pleaded guilty in Dane County court and was ordered to serve two consecutive 30-day jail sentences plus probation.

In February, Ball was accused of hitting his girlfriend at a Madison hotel. In a separate incident in March, a different woman claimed Ball threw a phone at her and grabbed her by the neck.

Ball will get work-release privileges during his jail sentence.

Ball got four days credit for time served in jail.
