Mondovi looks to referendum on November ballot
MONDOVI, Wis. (WKBT) — An upcoming school referendum will be on the ballot for voters in the Mondovi School District.
The district has an $18 million referendum to address needs for district buildings.
If approved, the district would see upgrades to building security, as well as updating classrooms.
The referendum would be the first major referendum in the district in two decades.
“Our scope includes some new construction, a fairly extensive amount of heavy remodel and probably the most extensive would be some light remodel,” said Greg Corning, Mondovi School District Superintendent.
The owner of a $100,000 home would see a tax increase of $50 a year.
