Miracle Treat Day benefits Children’s Miracle Network

You get the chance to satisfy your sweet tooth Thursday and help the community.

Dairy Queen’s Miracle Treat Day provides Children’s Miracle Network at least one dollar from each Blizzard treat sold.

The day-long event is one of CMN’s biggest fundraisers of the year.

Staff from Children’s Miracle Network at Gundersen Health System say it’s a fun way to help out.

“We have a lot of our families our C-M-N families come out, familes that have been helped by us. They’ll come out and have blizzards and it’s a great chance for us to see the kids, you know we don’t get to see them all the time, so they’re out with the summer before going back to school,” said Heather Gilles, Associate Director of Development with Children’s Miracle Network at Gundersen Medical Foundation.

Last year the event raised nearly $40,000 for Children’s Miracle Network nationwide.
