Minnesota candidate Dan Feehan addresses health care concerns
Comments comment less than two weeks from election day
MINNESOTA (WKBT) – In Minnesota, the Democratic candidate for the state’s 1st Congressional District is sharing his thoughts about health care in the state and around the U.S.
Dan Feehan held a virtual event Wednesday, as he raised concerns about the Trump administration’s efforts to overturn the Affordable Care Act.
Feehan says a change to the health care system would be harmful.
“We can not go backwards to a time where insurance companies discriminated against those with preexisting conditions. Determined whether you had health care in the first place. And how much it would cost,” said Dan Feehan, Minnesota first Congressional District candidate.
Feehan’s challenger in the November election, Republican incumbent Jim Hagedorn says the current health care system is driving up prices.
“What I’m looking for is to make sure that we have a health care system in our country that allows nationwide competition to drive down the cost of premiums and deductibles,” said Minnesota House of Representative Jim Hagedorn.
Election day is November 3rd.
