Mini Job Fair provides businesses face to face time with potential employees
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — A mini job fair may mean big things for area job seekers and companies.
The La Crosse Workforce Development Center held a mini job fair Thursday.
Seven businesses from medical to manufacturing took part in the fair.
Businesses say they have a lot of opportunities available for people looking for a job.
“We’re connecting with people in a different way, we’re doing face to face, talking to them, answering direct questions, that they have so it kind of encourages people to ask those questions and encourage them to go online and look,” said Victoria Tran, Human Resources staff at Fastenal.
The mini job fairs will be held every other month at the Workforce Development Center in La Crosse.
