Slight Chance Of T-Storms Monday, Good Chance Of Rain Later Tuesday
Tonight’s Forecast Low: 75F / Monday’s Forecast High: 94F…
It was a hot and steamy day for our 4th of July. The good news is fireworks displays in our area will go off without a hitch tonight, but it will be quite warm and muggy. Also expect breezy SW winds this evening.
Slight chance of showers and t-storms late tonight, generally after about 3 or 4 a.m. as a weak boundary approaches from the north/west. Otherwise, lows tonight will range from the upper 60s to mid 70s.
Hot and humid Monday with highs in the low-mid 90s common. Slight chance of showers early in the morning… then again late in the day and into Monday evening. The best chance of storms later Monday will be south/east of La Crosse. Good chance of rain later Tuesday into Tuesday night. Before the rain chances arrive, expect another toasty day with highs Tuesday in the upper 80s to around 90F.
Slight chance of showers lingering into Wednesday morning. Otherwise, it will be much cooler with highs in the low 70s.
Looking Ahead… Partly sunny and pleasant Thursday with highs in the upper 70s. Another system will bring a decent chance of showers and a few t-storms Friday, perhaps lingering into Saturday as well. Highs both days will be in the upper 70s to around 80F.
Just isolated t-showers possible next Sunday and Monday, with highs around 80F Sunday… then mid 80s on Monday.
Have a happy & safe 4th of July… and a great week ahead! -Bill Graul
