Mild & Muggy Again Tonight. A Few Storms Wednesday.
Tuesday’s High: 91°F, Tonight’s Forecast Low: 72°F
On this final day in June, La Crosse hit 91°F, making that the 4th 90°F+ day this month. Not only has it been a steamy end to June, July will continue to be hot.
Warm & muggy conditions this evening and tonight with lows in the low 70s. There could be a stray sprinkle or two that develops this evening, but most of the region remains dry.
Wednesday will be another warm & humid day with highs in the upper 80s. A disturbance will bring the chance of a few showers or storms in the morning, and then again during the afternoon.
Highs will be near 90 degrees both Thursday and Friday with isolated afternoon and evening storms possible.
The 4th of July holiday on Saturday will be sunny and hot! Expect highs to top out near 90 degrees, but the humidity will make it feel warmer. Keep this in mind for any outdoor plans you make to celebrate.
Beyond the holiday, the heat and humidity stick around. Highs Sunday will be near 90 degrees, upper 80s through much of next week with small chances of rain.
Have a great night and stay cool! –Michelle Poedel
