Melrose-Mindoro prepares to welcome student back for in-person classes
Social distancing, masks will still be required
MELROSE, Wis. (WKBT) – The Melrose-Mindoro Area School District is planning to open with in-person classes.
Social distancing efforts in classrooms and common areas will be enforced.
And masks will be required.
But district officials hope to use some creativity about where students learn.
“Being a rural district, we have very nice outdoor spaces. So we will be looking for opportunities for our staff to get outside. So students will have an opportunity to remove the mask, if we maintain our social distancing,” said Melrose-Mindoro Area School District superintendent Jeff Arzt.
Families that do not feel comfortable with in person classes can use an online learning program.
