Mayo Clinic offering COVID-19 booster vaccines for kids 5- to 11-years-old

LA CROSSE (WKBT) – Mayo Clinic now offers Pfizer COVID-19 booster shots for kids 5-11.

Parents can schedule boosters at La Crosse, Onalaska, Arcadia, Caledonia, Prairie Du Chien, Sparta and Tomah clinics. The CDC recommends children in this age group receive a booster five months after their initial series of shots.

Appointments can be made on the Mayo Clinic App or Patient Online Services. If you do not have a caregiver account, call their customer service line at 877-858-0398.

Mayo Clinic Health System in Onalaska also is hosting pediatric COVID-19 booster vaccination clinics weekdays from 3 to 6 pm through June 10. Parents or guardians can call the Department of Pediatrics in Onalaska at 608-392-5002 for more information or to schedule a vaccination.
