The health system will provide short and long-term care.

WISCONSIN (WKBT) – Mayo Clinic Health System is working with the State Department to provide health care services for refugees coming to Fort McCoy.

It will provide short and long-term care.

Mayo leaders say providing health care at Fort McCoy matches with the health system’s values and humanitarian mission.

“This is a historic moment not only in our world, but in our community. And an opportunity for Mayo Clinic to participate and serve,” said Mayo Clinic Health System operations administrator Tia Meyer.

Gundersen Health System is also assisting with health care needs at Fort McCoy.
