Mayo Clinic Health System – Franciscan Healthcare announces leadership transition
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Mayo Clinic Health System – Franciscan Healthcare of La Crosse announced the transition of two leadership positions.
Tim Johnson, M.D., Regional Vice President, announced his plan to transition out of his current role in September of this year to return to patient care, according to a news release.
Joe Kruse, Vice Chair Administration, announced his plan to retire at the end of 2018.
“Without doubt, the hallmark achievement of this leadership team has been their commitment to protecting and enhancing a culture of genuine caring that permeates the Mayo practices across Southwest Wisconsin,” said Bobbie Gostout, M.D., vice president, Mayo Clinic.
“I have been continually impressed with the positive spirit that exemplifies our organization,” said Dr. Johnson, “and look forward to the year ahead as we work to optimize the power of the Epic electronic health record and expand our specialty practices.”
“I have felt blessed to be able to call this beautiful and inspiring location my home for more than 30 years, and to be a part of this team of supportive, caring, positive staff,” said Kruse. “I too look forward to completing vital work in the next several months.”
