Market in the Park raises money for the Onalaska Food Pantry
The event also featured live music, area food trucks, and a bar
ONALASKA, Wis (WKBT) – The Market in the Park was held again in the Onalaska Omni Cente parking lot.
This is the third time the event has been held this year and is growing with each new occurrence.
Patrons were able to shop from many different vendors who sold accessories, crafts, gifts, and much more.
The event also featured live music, area food trucks, and a bar.
Non-perishable food and monetary donations were accepted at the event to help support the Onalaska Food Pantry.
“Usually for our indoor craft shows we collect a couple truckloads of food for the Onalaska Food Pantry, so since we weren’t able to do that event this year, we wanted to do what we could to give back to the community and collect food donations to support the food shelf,” said Justin Swartling, the event coordinator for Market in the Park.
For the event, masks were encouraged and social distancing was required for all patrons and vendors.
