Man charged with theft, shooting at La Crosse duplex
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT)- An Onalaska man is facing charges for a shooting incident in La Crosse in September of 2019.
Norman Her, 29, is is charged with one count of Recklessly Endangering Safety and one count of misdemeanor Theft.
According to the criminal complaint, Her was seen on home surveillance video stealing a split cowling off a car in the area of the 1200 block of 5th Ave. S. in La Crosse.
The same video allegedly showed Her firing a gun at the car and a duplex three times.
Two days later, officers found a split cowling in the car Her was driving that matched the one that was stolen. They also recovered a loaded gun.
Testing at the State Crime Lab determined the shell casings recovered from the duplex came from the gun found in Her’s car.
Her denies any involvement.
