Man charged with Cass Street Kwik Trip stabbing goes to trial
Mitrel Anderson's trial is scheduled to start next Wednesday
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The man charged with stabbing someone to death at a Kwik Trip in La Crosse goes to trial next week.
Mitrel Anderson, 25, had a hearing on Wednesday where the attorneys started the jury selection process.
Anderson is charged with homicide in the June 2013 death of Demario Lee at the Kwik Trip on Cass Street. Anderson says he stabbed Lee in the head in self-defense. He has been in the La Crosse County jail for 18 months now.
The trial is scheduled to start next Wednesday.
