Man accused in 2019 attack of La Crosse Rudy’s employee makes initial appearance

Gerald Pemberton appeared in La Crosse County Circuit Court Tuesday by phone

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – The man accused of the 2019 attack of an employee at Rudy’s in La Crosse is finally charged.

Gerald Pemberton appeared in La Crosse County Circuit Court Tuesday by phone.

He posted a $1,000 cash bond and is to have no contact with the victim.

Pemberton will appear in court again on April 14.
