Mainly Cloudy & Not as Cold Tonight -Bill Graul
Rain Develops Wednesday
Tonight’s Forecast Low: 41F / Wednesday’s Forecast High: 51F…
Mainly cloudy and not as cold tonight with lows ranging from the mid 30s to low 40s. Winds will be light this evening, then pick up from the SE overnight around 5-15 mph, gusting to around 20 mph into Wednesday morning.
Cloudy and breezy Wednesday with rain developing west to east later morning into the afternoon hours as low pressure and a cold front push into the region. The rain will then taper and shift east later in the evening, around 10 or 11 p.m. or so.
Some areas could pick up .50″ or more of rainfall. The clouds and rain chances will keep temps in check, with highs only in the mid 40s to around 50F. Breezy as well, with SE to S winds 10-20 mph and gusts around 35 mph possible.
Thursday is looking really nice with lots of sunshine and warmer highs in the low-mid 60s. Breezy Friday with a chance for a few showers and t-storms as a warm front lifts north across the region. Low pressure to the northwest then swings a cold front east across the region Saturday, bringing the chance for more scattered showers and t-storms. Expect highs Friday in the upper 50s to low 60s, then some spots could climb above 70F Saturday… until the cold front sweeps through Saturday evening or night. A few showers could linger into early Sunday, otherwise it will be a bit cooler with highs closer to 60F.
Looking Ahead… Turning cooler again heading into next week, with highs in the mid 50s Monday… then upper 40s to around 50F Tuesday and Wednesday. More clouds than sun expected all three days and perhaps some isolated showers or sprinkles on Tuesday and Wednesday. Overnight lows will drop back into the 30s in most areas.
Have a good Tuesday night and be sure to have that rain gear handy on Wednesday! -Bill Graul
