Mainly Cloudy & Cooler Today
Thursday’s Forecast High: 43°F, Tonight’s Forecast Low: 28°F
Good Thursday to you! After a mild Wednesday across the area with highs in the 50s for most, cooler air will move in for today. Winds have shifted out of the north and we will see mainly cloudy skies today. Temperatures won’t move much from where they are this morning. I’m expecting high temperatures to only reach the upper 30s to low 40s this afternoon depending on your location. A few peeks of sun will be possible this afternoon and evening.
Mostly cloudy skies tonight with lows in the mid to upper 20s. We could even see a few flurries late.
Friday will be another cooler than average day. Skies will be mostly cloudy to start, but a little sunshine will be possible during the afternoon. Highs will only reach the low to mid 40s.
Winds will shift out of the south Saturday, bringing a warm up just in time for Halloween. Expect temperatures to be seasonable in the low to mid 50s. Winds will gust 30-35 mph. A few showers possible Saturday night with the passing of a cold front.
Behind the cold front, get ready for a chilly day on Sunday. Temperatures will top out in the 30s to 40 degrees with a breezy north/northwest wind, making it feel even colder.
Temps will be back on the increase as we head throughout the new work and school week. Highs will be in the upper 40s Monday with some sunshine, but we will warm back into the 50s for Tuesday, Election Day.
The warmer than average temperatures will stick around through the end of the week with a few days topping out near 60 degrees.
Enjoy your Thursday! –Michelle Poedel
