Mainly Cloudy & Cool With A Few Peeks Of Sun Possible Later Today
Thursday’s Forecast High: 43°F, Tonight’s Forecast Low: 28°F
The clouds from overnight have hung on this morning and early this afternoon, and we’ve even seen a few sprinkles. Though I am expecting a mostly cloudy today, I do think we could see some peeks of sun later this afternoon and evening. Despite the peeks of sun, temperatures will be cool with highs only topping out in the upper 30s to lower 40s.
Clouds will build back in tonight ahead of a weak disturbance. There could be a few flurries or light snow showers late tonight and into early Friday morning. Lows will fall into the upper 20s.
Friday will be another cooler than average day with a mix of sun and clouds. Highs will be in the low to mid 40s.
Winds will shift out of the south for Halloween on Saturday, and that means a warm up! Temperatures will top out in the low to mid 50s with a little sun and breezy winds.
However, the warmer, more seasonable temperatures won’t last into the second half of the weekend. A cold front will move through the Upper Midwest Saturday night, bringing a few showers. Behind the front, temperatures will take a nose dive for Sunday. Expect highs only in the mid to upper 30s – 40 degrees.
Sunday will be the coolest of the next 8 days. Highs Monday will still be cooler than average in the mid to upper 40s, but then temperatures will increase into the 50s, even 60 degrees for the rest of the week.
Enjoy the rest of your day! –Michelle Poedel
