Mainly Cloudy, Breezy & Cooler Today
Flurries Possible In Spots Tonight & Wednesday
Tuesday’s Forecast High: 38F / Tonight’s Low: 21F…
Temps were a bit cooler Monday, but still above average for this time of year. In fact, it was the 4th day in a row with an above average high temperature in La Crosse.
Today we will miss out on any snow, which will stay well to our south. However, we won’t miss out on the clouds. Temps will be cooler today with highs in the 30s. Breezy north winds 10-20 mph, with gusts around 25 mph possible in spots, will make it feel even cooler.
Mostly cloudy tonight with lows ranging from the low-mid teens to low 20s. A weak disturbance dropping south across the region could squeeze out some scattered flurries in spots.
Mostly cloudy and colder Wednesday with highs ranging from the mid 20s to around 30F. A few flurries will be possible, especially north and east. It will still be a bit breezy with NW winds 10-20 mph, just adding an extra chill.
Looking Ahead… Partly sunny and dry, but colder for Thursday and Friday. Highs will drop into the mid-upper 20s, with overnight lows in the single digits to low teens.
Temps start to warm over the weekend with highs in the low-mid 30s Saturday, then low 40s on Sunday. Expect partly sunny skies Saturday, then increasing clouds on Sunday.
A system could bring a chance of light snow or mix Monday, with light snow showers possible into Tuesday morning. Highs will be in the upper 30s to around 40F. Mostly cloudy next Wednesday, with highs in the low 40s.
Have a good Tuesday! -Bill Graul
