Mainly Clear & Seasonable Tonight -Bill Graul
Rather Toasty Thursday... But Still Not Overly Humid
Tonight’s Forecast Low: 63F / Thursday’s Forecast High: 90F…
It was a nice summer day across the region with highs in the 80s, but lower humidity. The high at the La Crosse airport was 87F, marking 8 of the last 9 days with an above average high temperature. We are now even for the month, with 11 days above average and 11 below.
Mainly clear and seasonable tonight, with fairly low humidity. Another decent night to keep the windows open with lows in the 50s to low-mid 60s. Winds will shift to the SE and decrease to around 5 mph.
Pretty toasty Thursday with highs in the 87-92F range, but still not overly humid. Winds will be from the S/SW around 5-15 mph, with gusts around 20 mph. Small chance of showers and t-storms Thursday night (Mainly west) and Friday as well, but the coverage only looks to be about 20% or less. Still rather warm Friday with highs in the upper 80s to near 90F, and a bit more humid too.
Unfortunately, there will be a better chance for scattered showers and t-storms on Saturday… so you will need to keep an eye on the radar for outdoor plans. Expect highs in the low 80s Saturday. Breezy and a bit cooler Sunday with highs in the mid-upper 70s, with a mix of clouds and sun.
Looking Ahead… Partly cloudy and pleasant Monday with highs in the upper 70s. Low-end chances for showers and t-storms next Tuesday and Wednesday, with seasonably warm highs in the low-mid 80s.
Have a good night! -Meteorologist Bill Graul
