Logan v. Central double header has special performance planned for halftime
'Dance Away Hunger' raises money for Hunger Task Force
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Friday’s double-header between Logan and Central High School basketball will have a very special performance.
The Logan High Dance Team, along with dozens of kids from their dance clinic, will be showcasing their moves to fight hunger in our area.
The kids were practicing their hip-hop routine on Thursday, which they’ll perform at both halftime shows for the boys and girls varsity games.
All money raised for the games will benefit the Hunger Task Force of La Crosse, but the money also goes to fight hunger for Logan High School students.
“La Crosse Logan, they use it for their food locker and so it’s a good donation too because the students here at Logan benefit from it as well,” said Kelsie Bolstad, Logan High’s Dance Team Coach.
The girl’s varsity game starts at 5:45 p.m. on Friday at Logan High School, followed by the boys varsity game at 7:15 p.m.
People are encouraged to bring food donations and a 5050 raffle will take place during each game.
