Logan High students win iFeed food drive competition

A friendly competition to help others gives a group of high school kids a chance to unwind.

In November, Interact clubs at Logan, Central,  Aquinas, Holmen, and West Salem High Schools took part in the iFeed food drive competition.

Logan High won with more than 14,000 food donations which will all go to local food pantries.

Their reward was an afternoon playing in giant hamster balls.

“They’re a lot of fun, everyone loves hitting each other, falling over. It was a really great incentive that everyone was super excited about, so we kind of stuck with it. We found our sponsors and we made sure that happened for the students,” said Olivia Severson, president of the Interact Club at Logan High.

In total, the schools collected more than 30,000 food donations.
