Local students show off their robotics skills in the LEGO League
LA CRESCENT, Minn. (WKBT) — Some young La Crescent engineers are showing off their robotics skills.
A team from Crucifixion Elementary is competing at the LEGO League Robotics sectional competition this weekend.
This year, the League tasked teams with solving problems in space. So the 4th and 6th graders from Crucifixion brainstormed ideas like bringing animals or trying to exercise in space but settled on entertainment.
“We had to have the robot come down here and had to hit this up. It’s hard, but it just takes work to get it right,” said Cruci-Comets Team Member Sean Martin.
The Crucifixion Elementary team competes in sectionals this Sunday in Saint Paul.
