Local golfers take advantage of recent warm weather
Drugan's, Trempealeau Mountain Golf Course opened
HOLMEN, Wis. (WKBT) — Golfers in our area are taking advantage of the recent warm weather.
Drugan’s is one of a few courses open in the La Crosse area, opening up before the winter storm hits later this week. Half of the Holmen-based golf course is open Tuesday and Wednesday.
While it is still early in the season, Drugan’s is seeing a steady stream of golfers make their way through the course.
“A lot of people that work here at Drugan’s like to play golf, take advantage of the golf course, and I know all the golfers in the area are going to take advantage of these two days as much as they can,” said Drugan’s Golf Shop Operator Keegan Drugan.
While Drugan’s is not taking tee times, employees say the course is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Trempealeau Mountain Golf Course was also open Tuesday.
