Local corn maze opens up to dogs to help wrap up the season
WEST SALEM, Wis. (WKBT)- Corn mazes can be a fun fall event for community members to enjoy, but one area corn maze opened up to the dogs of the Coulee Region.
Hidden Trails Corn Maze held their Dog Daze at the Maze event today.
Dogs were required to be on a leash as they made their way through the corn.
Owners were asked to clean up after their dogs, bring their own water, and make sure their dogs were up to date on vaccinations.
The Hidden Trails Corn Maze owner says it is a great event to help wrap up the year.
“It was actually started a few years ago by a senior at West Salem, for an exit project. So we did the dog maze and it provides an opportunity for people to bring their k-9 out to the corn maze and explore the maze and get lost with their dog,” said Hidden Trails Corn Maze Owner, Brett Miller.
Miller says after they close for the season, they’ll quickly start planning things for next year.
