La Crosse business breaks ground for new building
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — A local company broke ground today on a new expansion project. The Badger Corrugating Company is adding a new building off of West Avenue and Green Bay Street in La Crosse. The addition of the building will allow the company to hold more inventory, equipment and help with future growth.
“The expansion of the company means additional complicity in our interior millworks products and our lumber products. The expansion also means creating more jobs for the people here in La Crosse. And we’re trying to do the best we can to continue to serve our customers for the 117 years that we have been,” said Brian Mlsna, the president and CEO of Badger Corrugating Company.
The company is family and employee owned, it is in it’s fifth generation of family ownership. Mlsna says this expansion has been something the company has wanted to do for the past five years.
