Minor Accumulations Expected
Cory Malles
Good evening… we are watching a weak cool front passing though the area during the evening. Little to no precipitation is expected with this system, but it will keep clouds around the region for tonight. Look for lows in the upper teens to middle 20s.
As we head into tomorrow, look for another quick moving system to move in from the west This system has very little moisture to work with, but it will be able to squeeze out some light snow over much of the area, especially as we head into the afternoon and tomorrow night. Totals snow accumulations with this system, look to range from about a trace to maybe an inch or inch and a half by late Friday night. Look for highs tomorrow range from the upper 20s to middle 30s.
Looking ahead… We’ll see drier and cooler weather for Saturday. Look for highs in the 20s under mainly sunny skies.
Yet another clipper type system will arrive late Saturday night into Sunday. We could see some light rain and snow showers with this system, especially during the morning hours Sunday. The rest of the day looks cloudy and breezy, with northwest winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
Dry weather returns Monday as highs top out in the 30s.
Yet another in our parade of weather system will bring a slight chance of light snow Monday night into Tuesday. It will feel a bit colder as highs slip back into the 20s.
Next Wednesday looks dry with highs in the 20s.
We’ll pick up as chance of more rain and snow for next Thursday into Friday. Temperatures Thursday will return to above normal levels, but then cool back into the 20s for next Friday. -WKBT Cory Malles
