LHI employees help support WAFER food pantry

A friendly competition is helping out a local food pantry.

For the last couple of weeks, two departments at Logistics Health in La Crosse have been collecting donations for WAFER Food Pantry. They were competing to see who could collect the most donations.

WAFER picked up nearly 8,000 items Monday.

Employees at the company say the donation is a testament to the people who work in those departments.

“The whole vibe of it was just generosity and caring about the community, and it’s wonderful, and these items came from people’s hearts, not just their pocket books, or their pantries,” said Jasmine Reuteler.

More than 400 people took part in the competition.
